The online application process for the Common Law Admission Test (CLAT) 2020 will commence from January 1, 2020. The exam is conducted to shortlist the students for LLB and LLM courses which offered by 21 participating universities. The exam is conducted by the Consortium of NLUs (National Law universities) and will be conducted in computer-based mode.
The tentative date for the exam is May 10, 2020 and the application window will close on March 31, 2020. After conducting the exam, a provisional answer key will be released and candidates will be allowed to raise the objections. After considering all the objections, a final answer key will be released and the result will be prepared according to the same. The tentative date to release the result is May 24, 2020.
The exam will be objective in nature. For the UG courses, there will 150 questions carrying one mark each and for the PG courses, there will be 100 questions carrying one mark each and 2 subjective questions carrying 25 mark each.
