More than 200 students and 40 faculty members have participated in the camp. Mr. K.N. Bansal Chairman EIT said that "We organized this Blood Donation camp to motivate students to donate blood and understand the responsibility towards society."
Mr. C.K Nagpal, Principal, EIT told that awareness can motivate people toward blood donation. He said the participation of students in this camp was commendable.
At the beginning of the camp Members from Red Cross Society and Lions Club told students that anybody between the age group of 18-65 can donate blood. Every donor should take some precautions after blood donation. Heavy exercises and smoking should be avoided just after blood donation
Mr. Kidar Nath Bansal said that "Blood is one of those God gifted lifelines and it cannot be produced artificially. Therefore, as a human being it becomes our responsibility towards our society to make sure no one dies due to shortage of blood. We feel proud to organize this blood donation camp along with Red Cross Society and we thank our students and Faculty for participating voluntarily towards this noble cause. We look forward to organize more such events in future as well"
On this occasion, EIT's B-tech students Mohit Vasisth, Anmol, priyanka and staff member Rahul Sharma, Dheeraj Kumar donated blood, and said that this is the first time ,they donated blood and feeling proud.
On this occasion, Mr. Mahesh Bansal, Member of Managing Committee, EIT, Dean Dr. Chug, Principal Mr. C.K. Nagpal and Camp coordinator Ms. Renu Rana were available with college committee member, Mr. Mahesh Bansal. Committee member Mr.Bansal thanks to all students, staff member and management.
