Candidates who have applied for the CAT 2017 entrance exam will be able to download the admit cards from October 25 (1 pm onwards) from the official website at iimcat.ac.in.
Initially, the official date for releasing the admit cards were October 18 but, for some unknown reasons it has been postponed for a week In a similar scenario, the last date of registration for the exam was also extended from September 20 to September 25.
The exam is scheduled for November 26 and will be conducted by the IIM Lucknow in 140 different cities. The test is conducted by the IIMs to determine the eligibility of the candidates for getting admissions into prestigious Indian Institutes of Management (IIMs), ISM, ISB and other management institutions.
How to download the admit cards?
- Visit the official website of the CAT exam at iimcat.ac.in
- Click on the link for CAT 2017 admit cards
- A new page will open
- Enter your registration number and other details in the fields provided
- Your admit card will be displayed on the screen
- Take the print out of the admit card
Exam pattern:
The duration of test will be of three hours (180 minutes) and there will be three sections in the exam:
- Verbal Ability and Reading Comprehension
- Data Interpretation and Logical Reasoning
- Quantitative Ability
