In an attempt to establish the probable impact of digitalisation on students, the AppyStore.in conducted a survey and encountered several parent considering the internet as effective vehicle for learning process. The survey reveals over 50 per cent of the parents finding the digital platform as one good source for learning.

"The survey we conducted found that 58 per cent Indian children show positive behavior changes after using digital learning platforms. This reflects a progressive relationship between digital learning and developing minds," remarked Manoj Barot, marketing director of Mauj Mobile.

The questionnaire-based survey was participated by around 1, 167 parents.

Survey and its finding:

  • Around 58 per cent of the children exhibit positive behavioral changes  
  • Parents find digital platform as effective as the traditional methods in regards to children's cognitive growth
  • As much as 38 per cent of the participants used internet as a tool to treat worrisome and clearing doubts
  • Also, over 68 per cent of the participant used internet to teach new concepts
  • While 49 per cent of the participants used traditional methods such as toys and worksheet to enhance their children's intelligence, 42 per cent of the participants embarked to digital measures such as DVDs and mobile apps

Participants admitted that they had to keep an eye on their children to not to spent excess time on the internet or with the digital devices.
