Art is creativity and of all the things in the world the lessons in arts need not be boring. Thanks to an online platform called 'Virsa'. It is a new platform which has been launched recently in order to impart digital learning about the Indian culture and this is totally free. 

Routes2Roots is a Delhi based NGO which is responsible for bringing this platform online in association with Ministry of culture.  It is also the India's largest digital and interactive learning platform. It aims at promoting and preserving the rich heritage of Indian culture. 

It imparts education by the means of videos which are recorded by various renowned teachers of their respective fields. This gives everybody a chance who is interested in learning arts, to attend live sessions from various parts of the country. 

Route2Roots visit many schools before undertaking the project only to find that most of the schools are taking care of the needs of students when it comes to subjects like arts.  Now with Virsa online it will be very simple for the students to learn about cultural legacy in addition to academics which will create a balance in their education. 

Renowned artists like PanditBirjuMaharaj, L. Subramaniam, Kavita Krishnamurthy, Shovna Narayan, Shafquat Amanat Ali, Juhi Chawla, Ehsaan Noorani and Surinder Lal Malik are responsible for workshops and lectures in various genres and thay have the huge responsibility to explain everything to the kids nicely and in simple and understandable way.
