The government of India's (GoI's) Department of Biotechnology (DBT) has collaborated with the University of Cambridge for fixed-term, research-oriented University Lectureships. 

A scientist at Hilleman Laboratories, Dr. Ankur Mutreja has been felicitated with the prestigious University Lectureship at the University of Cambridge under the esteemed "DBT Cambridge Lectureship" programme. To enhance the research and technological development in India and to collaborate with Indian research institutions, the University of Cambridge has decided to collaborate with the Department of Biotechnology (DBT), India. They have introduced five posts for fixed-term, research-oriented University Lectureships. Dr. Mutreja, who is currently working as a scientist in Hilleman Laboratories is also leading the company's ETEC vaccine project. He is elated being selected for this highly coveted and responsible role.

Dr. Ankur Mutreja said, "I am humbled to receive this honor and grateful to the University of Cambridge and the Department of Biotechnology, GoI for considering me for this prestigious position. I would also like to express my gratitude to Hilleman Laboratories for providing me a stimulating and highly motivating environment to enhance my knowledge and expertise through advanced research. I look forward to my continued association with the organization."
