After declaring the results of CTET 2018 exam, CBSE has already announced the dates of the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) 2019. The 2019 edition of the CTET will be held on July 7, 2019 and detailed notification regarding the same will follow soon.
The result for the CTET 2018 was declared by CBSE on January 4, 2018. The exam was conducted by the CBSE after two years.
More than 18 lakh candidates appeared for the CTET 2018 exam. Of the total candidates appeared in the primary category (10,73,545) only 1,78,273 candidates qualified the exam. Out of 8,78,425 candidates for the upper primary level only 1,26,968 candidates qualified the exam.
CBSE has also released the mark sheet and the eligibility certificate for the CTET qualified candidates. These have been released in digital format and candidates can download them from their respective DigiLocker account.
CTET is an exam to determine the eligibility of the candidates who wish to work as a teacher in primary and upper primary classes. CTET is conducted on the national level and its scores are accepted for shortlisting candidates for recruitment exams.
