The results of the Common Management Admission Test (CMAT) will be released by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) on February 15. Candidates who did appear for the exam will be able to download their results from the official website once they are declared. The official website is-- aicte-cmat.in.

Steps to download the results

  • Visit the official website as mentioned above
  • Click on the link for the CMAT 2018 merit list
  • Enter the login credentials
  • Check and download the file

The merit list of the candidates will be prepared by the AICTE on the basis of total score scored by the candidates in the exam. For each correct answer there are 4 marks and for the incorrect answer candidates are awarded negative 1 mark.

In case scores are same, the ranking of the candidates is done on the basis of the sectional score considered in the order:

  • Quantitative techniques and data interpretation
  • Logical reasoning
  • Language comprehension
  • General awareness

There are more than 3500 AICTE approved B-schools which accept the results of the CMAT scores such as JBIMS, Sydenham, KJ Somaiya, IMT, GIM among others.
