The online registration process for the CLAT 2019 exam has started on the official website. The window for online registrations will remain open until March 31, 2019. Candidates can visit the website -- clatconsortiumofnlu.ac.in to register for the exam. As mentioned in the official notification, the CLAT 2019 is scheduled on Sunday, May 12, 2019 (3:00 PM to 5:00 PM) and the exam will be held in offline mode.
How to apply for the CLAT 2019 exam
As a first step, candidates are required to register for the exam by using their mobile number and e-mail id. After registration, an OTP will be sent for the validation. Once you are validated, candidates can use their mobile number and password (provided at the time of registration) to log-in and complete the form.
List of documents needed for applying
- Passport size photo with a plain background
- Scanned copy of the signature
- Category certificate if you are applying under SC/ST/OBC
- Relevant certificate issued by competent authority if you are applying if a candidate is P.W.D
- Relevant certificate issued by competent authority if you are coming under the BPL category
- Domicile certificate of the respective state
Application fee
For General/OBC/PWD/NRI/PIO/OCI candidates : Rs.4,000/-
For SC/ST/BPL category candidates: Rs.3,500/-
The application fee is non-refundable and the fee is only accepted by the online mode of payment.
