On basis of the version of SHO of Maurice Nagar Police Station an FIR has been registered for rioting and assaulting public servants.

The situation is still tensed in Ramjas College even one day after the violent clash between the students of AISA and ABVP. Classes
are still suspended in the College.


Students of AISA left wing protested against the Delhi Police and ABVP students protested in front of Delhi Police and this protest
was also joined by the teachers from different colleges.


"We are protesting against culture of silence on an institution like Delhi University where professors and teachers were brutally assaulted amid inclusion of violence by police force who failed to stop ABVP students," said Uma Gupta, a professor at IP College for Women.

The protest against Delhi Police was supported alike by students and teachers from SRCC, Hindu, KMC, Mirand college, Ramjas college, Ambedkar University and Jamia university.

"We are the people involved in the business of idea. We were not allowed to do carry out a panel talk and had to witness violence on our college campus. Teachers failed to protect their students for the first time," said Radhika Menon, another professor present outside the Delhi police headquarters.

"We want to get an FIR lodged against the criminal assault on Delhi University's professors by ABVP goons," said another DU professor.
