According to the reports, every year more than 11 lakh candidates appear for the MBBS entrance exams. While the government has made NEET compulsory for getting in medical courses since 2016 there are still exams such as AIIMS and JIPMER which stand alone separate from the NEET. Below is the list of such exams and their important dates related to them.
NEET Exam
The National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) 2019 is conducted by the CBSE once a year in pen and paper mode. Next year, the NEET is scheduled on May 5 and the admit cards for the same will be available from April 15. The tentative date for the declaration of the results is June 5, 2019.

AIIMS medical exam
The AIIMS entrance exam is a one-way ticket to the most prestigious medical college in the country, AIIMS. Apart from the main center in Delhi, there are six other branches of the college in various parts of the nation. The colleges are AIIMS Bhopal, AIIMS Bhubaneswar, AIIMS Jodhpur, AIIMS Patna, AIIMS Raipur, AIIMS Rishikesh.

JIMPER Exam
JIPMER or Jawaharlal Institute of Postgraduate Medical Education and Research entrance exam is another exam in which thousands of aspirants appear every year. The exam is conducted for giving the admissions into JIPMER Puducherry and Karaikal.
