CBSE has released an important notification for the students who are going to appear in the 201 board exams. In the notification, the board said that it will provide a scribe facility to all the students who are unable to write their exams due to a sudden illness.
However, their illness should be certified by a medical officer of a rank not lower than an assistant surgeon.
Important points from the notification
- The scribe for the above mentioned case shall be provided by the Centre Superintendent of the exam center
- The scribe should be a student of class lower than the candidate who is appearing for the exam
- Service of the scribe shall be free of cost
- A suitable room should be made available for the candidate utilizing the service of the scribe
- One special assistant superintendent shall supervise the exam of such candidate
This year, more than 28 lakh students will be appearing for the board exams. The exams for class 12 will conclude on April 4 and class 10 on April 12.
