In the ongoing results season, a number of students feel disappointed by their results. In some of these cases, the students wish to opt for a re-evaluation of their answer sheet. If you are one of them, this news is of use to you. CBSE (Central Board of Secondary Education) has announced that the process for re-evaluation, verification of marks and photocopies for the students of class 12th would commence from Wednesday, 25th May. The students can apply till 28th May.
The board has linked all these three processes, viz. re-evaluation, verification of the final marks and getting hold of the photocopies of the evaluated answer book. To get the photocopy of the evaluated answer sheet, the student must apply for the verification of marks. Only those candidates who apply for the verification of marks and get the photocopy of their answer sheet would be able to apply for the re-evaluation of the specific subjects.
The fee for this application would be Rs 300 per subject. The payment mode is online. For those applying from outside India, the last date of payment is 31st May.
In order to get the photocopy of the evaluated answer sheet, the students would have to pay Rs 700 per subject. For photocopies, you can apply between 3rd and 6th June.
If a student wishes to challenge the marks given in certain questions, he or she can only do so for a maximum of 10 questions at the cost of Rs 100 per question. The application dates for challenging the marks in the question is between 7th June and 9th June.
