CBSE has released the official notification for the registrations of the regular students of classes 9 and 11 of CBSE affiliated school for the academic session 2018-19. The affiliated schools should register themselves before proceeding with the online registrations. The online registration process has started from October 1 and will continue until October 22, 2018 at the official website of CBSE -- cbse.nic.in.
According to the notification, the schools have been advised to offer the subjects that are permitted by the CBSE or else CBSE may take action against the school, which can lead to cancellation of candidature of such students.
CBSE has also clarified that Aadhaar card is not necessary for the online registrations. The Aadhaar card field has been provided in the form but students who do not have the Aadhaar card can enter their passport number, ration card number, bank account number or any other government valid identity.
If the applicant students is a foreign national then they can enter the passport number. If passport number is not available then they can mention the Social Security Number/ID Number issued by the respective foreign country.
Application fee
The application fee for applying online is INR 150 and students with disabilities are exempted from the fee. The last date to submit the online application form is October 22. However; candidates can submit the application form until October 30 with a late fee of Rs 500, Rs 1000, Rs 2000 and Rs 5000 for registration from October 31 to November 12, November 13 to November 20 and November 21 to November 28, respectively.
