NEET 2016 result has been declared by CBSE on its official website which is at www.aipmt.nic.in
This year's topper is from boys from the state of Gujarat named Het Shah who secured total of 685 marks and second position is secured by the Ekansh Goyal followed by Nikhil Bajiya.
How to check the results?
In order to check the results, the candidates are required to follow the steps listed below:
- Go to the official website
- Click on the link, 'NEET Phase 2 Results 2016'
- Enter the requisite details
- After submitting the same. The results would appear on the screen
- The candidates must take a printout for future reference.
The result of NEET 2016 was declared on the basis of qualifying criteria prescribed by the Medical Council of India and Dental Council of India and also based on the information submitted by the candidates in their online forms. The qualified candidates have to further complete the formalities and admission with the respective Counselling Authorities viz DGHS, Medical Education Directorates of States, AFMC, Institutions and Universities, etc. for admission to MBBS/BDS courses.
