CBSE Class 10th and 12th registrations for the board exams 2019 to begin soon

According to the CBSE, the aadhaar number is not mandatory for the online registration and students can use other government valid identity proof for the registration

The registration process for the class 10th and 12th students for the CBSE board exams 2019 is likely to commence this week. Last year, the process commenced on October 17, 2017. Before students can register themselves for the exams it is important for the schools to register with the CBSE. Schools can register themselves by visiting the official website of CBSE -- cbse.nic.in.

The online registration process for the class 9th and 11th students has already begun and the last date for the same is October 22. According to an official notification from the CBSE, schools have been advised only to offer subjects that are permitted by the board.

Aadhaar card not mandatory

According to the CBSE, the aadhaar number is not mandatory for the online registration. The Aadhaar card field has been provided in the form but students who are not in possession of the same can enter their Passport number, ration card number, bank account number or any other valid identity proof provided by the government.

Registration fee

For registrations, students are required to pay the application fee of INR 150 and students with disabilities have been exempted from the same. Candidates can submit the application fee until October 30 with a late fee of Rs 500, Rs 1000, Rs 2000 and Rs 5000 for registration from October 31 to November 12, November 13 to November 20 and November 21 to November 28, respectively.
