Class 10 board exams will be conducted by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) in March 2018. It is high time for the students who are going to appear for the exams to start preparing for the exams. To facilitate the students, CBSE has released the sample papers and marking schemes for all the main subjects. All the released sample papers and marking scheme for the board exams 2018 are available on the official website of the board (cbse.nic.in or cbseacademic.in)
Marking scheme
- There will be a total of 27 questions in the exam and there division is: 2 (1 mark question), 3 (2 marks questions), 10 (3 marks questions) and 6 (5 marks question).
- There will be internal choice in three questions of 3 marks each, two questions of 5 marks each and one question of two marks
- 12 marks will be asked from the questions based on practical
- 1 mark questions should be answered in one sentence
- 2 mark questions should be answered in about 30 words
- 3 mark questions should be answered in about 50 words
- 5 mark questions should be answered in about 70 words
- The theory exam will be of 80 marks and candidates will be given 3 hours to attempt the paper
- Candidates need to pay special attention to the diagrams and their labeling
