The Calicut University took a weird decision this week. Calicut University's Vice chancellor (VC) has chosen to scratch off the special examination which was held 3 years back on the insistence of the daughter of Pro Vice chancellor (PVC) and 23 other B Tech students of Nehru Engineering College, Pampadi.
The state cautiousness division named CU's VC and PVC as first and second blamed for the situation and representative P Sathasivam a week ago authorized an examination against them.
Bad habit chancellor M Abdul Salam said he has solicited the controller from examinations to issue requests scratching off the reevaluation in the light of the exposure made by students before the cautiousness that their marks in the appeal to the VC, on the premise of which the re-test was requested in September 2012, was fake. The VC said he had taken the choice to lead the reevaluation in accordance with some basic honesty and by practicing the forces vested in him under segment 78 of the CU First Statutes.
According to the FIR of the case, the VC, PVC and the PVC's own partner NS Ramakrishnan manhandled their official position and brought forth criminal connivance to help Sangeetha, the fourth blamed and little girl for the PA of PVC, through their choice to lead reconsideration for 24 6th semester students of the school in 2012.
Applicant for the situation V Stalin said that crossing out of the re-exam added up to confirmation by the VC of inconsistencies in directing it. It is dependably learnt that the students who went in the reevaluation hung on September 9, 2012 will approach the court against the varsity in such manner. Some of them have joined for M Tech and numerous others have taken up different employments.
