Each and every student is preparing for the board exams
starting from March 1st as 3.28 lakh students in Patna region, comprising Bihar
and Jharkhand, are busy with final revisions to write Class X and XII
examinations of Central Board of Secondary Education.
As compared to last year, students writing class X board exams are up by 15000 (around 1,58,745 students) and out of these 52,826 are girls. They will write Class X exams at 998 centres in the region. While board-based exams will commence on Tuesday with non-major papers like security and dynamics retail, major paper science will be held on Wednesday and the school-based exams are scheduled March 10 onwards.
According to an official, for class XII, number of students registering are 79,984, including 27,837 girls. The major first paper of Class XII is English Elective, English Elective (C) and English Core on March 1. Further, schools can download the admit cards of their students, attendance sheet and list of candidates at the examination centre online.
Last year, 1,43,051 students had written the secondary school exams (X) while 81,973 students had taken the senior school examination (XII). This year, a total of 14,99,122 students, including 6,06,437 girls, are taking the class X exams in India. The class XII exams are being taken by 10,67,900 students, including 4,46,641 girls.
