A well known consulting firm with global footprints, BMGI (Breakthrough Management Group International) had the chance of opening up the recruitment process at IIT Kharagpur on the very first day of the placements. The students were seemingly excited during the pre-placement talks where the representatives of the company talked about the roles on offer.
The entire process was managed by Dinesh Rajput, who is an alumnus of the institute. He said that "BMGI has developed a very good connect with the Institute, as the role being offered was one of the most enriched consulting roles offered on the campus". Out of the 650 applications received by the company, only 2 students were offered the job.
BMGI has been hiring from the premier institutes across the country for a long time now. Naresh Rajsinghani, BMGI's CEO & executive director remarked that "BMGI is looking for strategic partners in the recruitment process and would be visiting the short-listed schools IIT Kharagpur and IIT Kanpur in the upcoming recruitment cycles."
Mr. Nirmala Banerjee, the company's Business head opined that "The engineers from IITs with their analytical thinking coupled with challenging the status quo attitude, add substantial value to BMGI's result based consulting practice"
