The result declaration date for the Bengal board class 10th exams will be decided after the lockdown is lifted, said West Bengal Board of Secondary Education (WBBSE).

Mr. Chatterjee said that that sorting and evaluation process for the exam answer sheets is being done at rapid speed and once the evaluation is complete, the rest of the process will not take much time.

The remaining papers of the Higher Secondary Exams will be held after June 10 and conducting class 12 pending exam is WBCHSE’s priority, he added.

Regarding academic calendar of universities and colleges, the minister said “the academic calendar of different state universities and affiliated colleges will be decided by the universities in consultation with the higher education department.”
