The registration process for the WEBJEE 2018 has started on the official website--wbjeeb.nic.in and candidates who are interested in appearing for the exam can apply for the same by visiting the official site. The exam is conducted to check the eligibility of the candidates for admissions into undergraduate courses in engineering and technology, pharmacy and architecture courses in universities, government colleges and self-financed institutes in the state.
The exam is scheduled to be held on April 22, 2018.
Eligibility criteria
Candidates must have passed class 12 or equivalent exams with Physics and Mathematics as subjects. They should have chemistry/ biotechnology/ biology/ computer science/ computer application as compulsory subjects and must have scored pass marks individually in both theory and practical (as applicable). Overall they must have scored 45 percent marks. There is relaxation of 5 percent for the candidates belonging to the reserved category.
Examination subjects
Candidates are required to appear for two papers in WEBJEE 2018:
Paper I - Math
Paper II - Physics and Chemistry (Combined)
Ranks will be awarded to the candidates appearing in the exam (both paper 1 and paper 2) on the basis of which they will be eligible for admission into engineering/technology/architecture/pharmacy courses.
Those appearing for the paper-II will be awarded rank and will be eligible for admissions in pharmacy courses.
