The official notification for the Andhra Pradesh State Teacher Eligibility Test (AP TET) is now available on the official website-- aptet.apcfss.in. According to the notification, the exams will be conducted from June 10 to June 21, 2018.
Earlier, the results of the APTET 2017 exams were released on March 21 and the exams were conducted from February 21 to March 2.
Eligibility criteria
The candidates at the time of applying for APTET, May 2018 should have all the minimum qualification as prescribed in the bulletin and the candidates who are in their final year of the Teachers Education Course (recognized by the NCTE or the RCI) can also apply for the exam.
Passing criteria for the APTET exam
In order to qualify the APTET exam following is the criteria (minimum passing marks) for the various categories:
General category: 60 percent
Backward classes (ST): 50 percent
SC/PH category and Ex-servicemen: 40 percent
Candidates should remember that only 20 percent weight will be given to the marks obtained in the APTET test and 80 percent weight will carry the marks scored by the candidates in the Teacher Recruitment Test (TRT).
APTET exam certificate will be valid for a period of seven years.

How to apply for the APTET exam
Candidates can only apply for the exam in an online mode by visiting the official website-- http://www.cse.ap.gov.in and paying the application fee of INR 500.
Note: Candidates applying for the multiple exams will have to pay the application fee for each exam they are applying for.
