The UGC NET exam conducted by the CBSE each year witnesses participation from lakhs of candidates. However, only a handful of these participants manage to clear the exam. The 2017 exam was conducted on 22nd January 2017. In just a month’s time, CBSE has now decided to release the answer keys for the exam. As per the board, the answer keys would come out very soon on the website – cbsenet.nic.in.

The UGC NET exam conducted by the CBSE had 3 papers in all with the following pattern –
Paper 1 of the examination
The duration of the first paper was one and a half hours. Carrying a total of 100 marks, the paper had 60 questions, out of which 50 questions were to be attempted by the students.
Paper 2 of the examination
While the duration of this exam was one and a half hours, it carried 100 marks and had 50 questions, all of which were compulsory.
Paper 3 of the examination
The duration of this paper was two and a half hours and it had 150 marks for 75 questions. All the questions in the paper were compulsory.
The CBSE UGC NET examination is conducted by the board to determine the eligibility for the multiple posts of Assistant Professor, Junior Research Fellowship across the country.
