The management of Asia-Pacific Institute of Management (AIM) has awarded a scholarship of Rs. 1,00,000/- (Rs. One lakh) each to its 5 meritorious students to visit IDRAC, Lyon, France in order to pursue their advance management courses, in the area of international business during January-April'2012.
The programme is a part of the ongoing agreement on academic exchange programme between Asia-Pacific Institute of Management (AIM) and International School of Management (Ecole Superieure de Commerce-IDRAC), Lyon, France is for mutual benefit of students of these institutions and promotion of faculty exchange. IDRAC is a member of Campus France and the Alliance de Grandes Ecoles Rhônes Alpes (AGERA groups together 37 of the most prestigious Grandes Ecoles in the Rhône-Alpes region).The purpose of this agreement is to develop scholarly exchange between India and France in the shared conviction that such exchanges contribute towards building a global mind-set and awareness about the latest trend in management thinking among the participants under the exchange programme.
Mr. AK Shrivastava, Chairman, Asia Pacific Institute of Management, said, "The movement towards a global economy and unprecedented economic and technological changes has given rise to great opportunities for developing newer methodologies in the field of management. Keeping in mind the same, the management is glad to award the scholarship to the meritorious students.
