In a much needed move to many young students enlisted in B Tech courses under now-old FYUP of Delhi University, the All India Council of Technical Education (AICTE) has at last issued its endorsement to 27 institutes to run these courses legally.

AICTE has given approbation for the 2013-14 cluster which had taken confirmation in the B Tech courses, as a feature of the now outdated Four-Year Undergraduate Program (FYUP).

"We have gotten a correspondence from AICTE advising that the support has been allowed to the 27 universities," told an authority from the college.

B Tech programs in software engineering, gadgets, nourishment innovation, instrumentation hardware and polymer science were dispatched as a feature of FYUP, which was a year ago scrapped after UGC mediation.

The universities were requested that look for support from AICTE, the zenith warning body controlling specialized instruction in the nation.
