After CBSE, Girls once again outshine boys in ICSE results of class 10 and 12

The ICSE class 10 and ISC class 12 board results have been declared today on May 29 at 3 pm at a press conference.

The board results for the ICSE class 10 and ISC class 12 were declared on May 29. During the exams, a total number of 2,106 schools participated in the ICSE exams which were attempted by 96,770 boys and 78,529 girls. This year the overall pass percentage in the exams is 98.5 percent.

This year also, girls performed well in ICSE exams just like the previous year.

ICSE pass percentage

Pass percentage of girls: 99.03 percent
Pass percentage of boys: 98.13 percent

Toppers of the board

  • Both, Muskan Abdulla Pathan from Pune and Ashwin Rao from Bangalore, scored first rank in class 10 with 99.4 percent
  • Ananya Maity, a student of the Heritage School (Kolkata) topped the ISC class 12 board exams with 99.5 percent

There were 57 written subjects in ICSE in which there were 22 Indian languages, nine foreign languages and one classical language on the other hand ISC exam were conducted in 50 written subjects in which there were 16 Indian languages, five foreign languages and one classical language.
