UP government has said that Uttar Pradesh State Entrance Examination (UPSEE) will be held on May 10 and the admit cards for the same will be released on April 27. Today is the last day to register for the exam as registration window will close at 11:59 pm. Candidates who will submit their application will be given one-time chance to edit their applications until April 9 (11.59 pm).

The exam is conducted by the Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam Technical University (AKTU) to shortlist the candidates for Undergraduate, postgraduate, Integrated MBA, Integrated MCA, and lateral entry programs offered by the degree level engineering institutions and other professional colleges in Uttar Pradesh.

"There will be no negative marking. However, a record of incorrect answers given by a candidate will be kept separately," reads the exam notice.

"Answers in OMR based examination are to be marked using ballpoint pen (Black / Blue) only. For evaluation in these papers, the details filled in by the candidate in the OMR answer sheet will be treated as final," it adds.

After the exam, the university will conduct counseling process for the candidates in online mode. Candidates will be required to register online for the counseling process and select the institute and brach/code according to their preference.
