Admit cards for the Tata Institute of Social Sciences (TISS) NET exam are expected to be released soon. The exam is conducted to shortlist the students for various ‘Masters’ courses offered by the institute. According to the tentative schedule released by the institute, the admit cards for the January exam will be released between December 18 and December 19.
Once released, candidates, who have applied for the exam will be able to download the same from admissions.tiss.edu.
The exam is conducted for admission to courses such as Master of Arts, Master of Science and BEd-MEd Integrated programs in various campuses of the Institute.
The exam is held in computer-based mode and consists of 100 objective type multiple-choice questions (MCQ). For 2020, the exam is scheduled for January 4, 2020, from 2 pm to 3.40 pm across several exam centers.
Irrespective of the candidate’s application for single or multiple programs, candidates will appear for the test only once and scores obtained will be valid for all the programs.
For the TISS NET exam, no negative marking is applicable, however for the TISS-MAT exam (MA Human Resource Management and Labour Studies and MA Organization Development, Change and Leadership) there will be negative marking.
The duration of the exam is 1 hour and 40 minutes and the medium of the exam will be English.
