Admit cards for the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Main will be released on December 6, 2019. Admit cards will be released by the National Testing Agency and will contain information such as exam date, shift, center and subject details etc. Once released, candidates who have registered for the exam will be able to download the same from the official website of the NTA for JEE Main -- nta.ac.in.
The exam is conducted twice in a year -- January and April -- and candidates can choose to appear either in one or both the exams. In case a candidate chooses to appear in both exams best score from both exams will be considered for the admission process and shortlisting of students for the JEE Advanced exam.
The exam is conducted in the High security environment to ward off cheating and other forms of malpractice.
Once the exam is conducted, NTA releases the answer key for the exam and candidates are given an opportunity to raise objections against it. The final result is declared after considering all the objections and releasing the final answer key.
