The Programs offered by IFIM College include 3 year programs in Commerce (Bcom), Management (BBM), Computer Applications (BCA) and Journalism (BA Journalism). All the programs are recognized by Bangalore University.
IFIM College also has short industry internship programs, wherein the student is made to work in a particular company, for a limited time period, during his course with the college. The college also conducts short educational trips to companies in India and abroad. A student graduating from IFIM College can choose, on qualifying, to do his MBA (3+1) year from NYIT ( New York Institute of Technology), USA. In addition to this, the students can also take advantage of coaching provided on campus for CA / ICWA/ ICSI/ CS/ CPT/, CAT / MAT / XAT exams and do a certified program in Web designing/ SERVLET/ JSP/ .NET etc. . Admission Procedure and Eligibility Criteria:
The interested student should submit a filled application form to the college in the prescribed format. The application form may be obtained by post or in person from IFIM College on payment of Rs. 500/- (Five Hundred Only). The application form may also be filled and submitted online by visiting the website www.ifimcollege.com. The application fees may then be paid online.
For all the programs, applicants should have passed 12th standard / PUC in English Medium. Those who are studying in 12th standard are also eligible to apply. Shortlisted candidates for all the four courses i.e., BBM, B.Com, BCA and B.A. (Journalism) will be called for a written aptitude test and personal interview. The final decision to admit a candidate will be based on the academic record and the performance in the written aptitude test and personal interview.
