There are some changes taking place in the educational landscape of Gujarat. With the development of the Central Gujarat University (CGU), around 85 universities that were associated to Gujarat University (GU), yet were in the locale of the recently shaped college, will be de-subsidiary by GU.

GU bad habit chancellor M N Patel said the state government has as of late established the new college which has been headquartered in Godhra and will cover Panchmahals, Mahisagar, Dahod and Vadodara provincial. The 85 universities which were associated to GU have been de-partnered and exchanged to the new CGU.
