2017 Exam calendar of UPSC is out

The UPSC (Union Public Service Commission) conducts a host of exams throughout the year which attract aspirants in lakhs. Each year, aspirants from across the country wait for the commission to publish its examination calendar. Their wait has now ended with the commission finally coming out with its 2017 exam calendar.

Here is a brief summary of that examination calendar.

Engineering Services (Preliminary) Examination:

  • The date for notification: September 28
  • The date for the Examination: January 8, 2017

C.D.S. EXAM.(I):

  • The date of notification: November 9
  • The date for Examination: February 5

CISF AC(EXE) LDCE-2017:

It is conducted for recruiting candidates for the post of Assistant Commandants in Central Industrial Security Force.

  • The date for the notification: December 7
  • The date of the Examination: March 5

N.D.A. and N.A. EXAM.(I):

This exam is conducted in order to recruit the candidates to the army, air force and navy wings.

  • The date for notification: January 18
  • The date for the Examination: April 23

I.E.S./I.S.S. EXAM

  • The date for notification: February 8
  • The date of the Examination: From May 12

Combined Geo-Scientist And Geologist Exam:

This exam is conducted by the UPSC with an objective of recruiting candidates suitable for the posts of two categories viz. category I (posts in Geological Survey of India) category II (posts in Central Ground Water Board).

  • The date of the notification: February 8
  • The date of the Examination: From May 12

Engineering Services (Main) Examination:

  • The date of the Examination: Beginning from May 14

Civil Services (Preliminary) Exam:

  • The date of the notification: February 22
  • The date of the Examination: June 18

Indian forest service (Prelims) Exam. 2017 through CS(P) Exam:

  • The date of the notification: February 22
  • The date for the Examination: June 18

Central Armed Police Forces (ACs) Examination:

  • The date of the notification: April 12
  • The date of the Examination: July 23

N.D.A. & N.A. Exam.(II):

  • The date of the notification: June 7
  • The date of the Examination: September 10

Civil Services (Main) Exam:

The Exam begins from: October 28

C.D.S. Exam.(II):

  • The date of the notification: August 9
  • The date of the Examination: November 19

Indian Forest Service (Main) Exam:

The examination begins from: From December 3
