Institute of Health Management Research (IIHMR), Jaipur formerly known as Indian Institute of Health Management Research, was founded in 1984 in Jaipur. Over the years the Institute has created a niche for itself in providing quality education in Health Management and Hospital Management. It has made phenomenal contributions to both research and education in the area of management of health services achieving a pride of place in health management, planning and research at the national and international levels. The role of the Institute is being increasingly realized and appreciated in developing health management as an important discipline for improving the efficiency, effectiveness and quality of health care. The Institute has consolidated its focus on research in health policy and programs. Being a WHO Collaborating Centre and recognized as an Institute of Excellence by the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Government. of India. The Institute has been able to promote research in policy development and program evaluation. We have extended our scope of work to several states. We are now working in most of the major states in India.
The main Objective behind organizing the conference was to provide An International level platform to share ideas and innovations. A platform for healthcare leaders and professionals to share best practices, exchange ideas and discuss strategies on how to spend least amount of resources while achieving the best outcomes.
The Chief Guest on this occasion was Shri Rajiv Kapoor, Chief People Officer, Fortis Hospitals and the Guest of Honor was Dr, Sudarshan Jain, MD, Abbott Healthcare.
