Pursuing a medical degree is one of the most lucrative options in India. It is a profession which has been looked highly upon for centuries. It is an honorable profession which millions of students look up to all over the country. However, becoming a doctor is not so easy. It requires dedication and commitment. School qualifications to apply for the medical entrance examinations:

To pursue a career in the medical world one has to work right from high school. However, for those students who are serious about this option as a future career, there are many coaching centers which are famous for helping students come a step closer to their dream.

Crash courses to prepare for the entrance examination have never been recommended.  To learn and understand all the subjects necessary for a medical entrance examination one has to be committed to the pursuit. Getting yourself registered to a training course as early as possible is your best bet. AIIMS Entrance Examination, AIPMT, DPMT,BHU-PMT etc are some of the most common Pre Medical tests which are conducted all over the country. Clearing these examinations with flying colors will allow you entrance into the most prestigious colleges in the country.

The M.B.B.S Degree:

It is a five and a half year professional course, which is considered one of the hardest periods in an aspiring doctorâs life. The curriculum is rigorous, which is followed by an even tougher period of residency. After crossing these five years one can finally be considered a doctor. Usually many students stop at this step, however, for a more ambitious lot, an MD and MS are the post graduation options. MD is post graduation for Medicine and MS is for Surgery.

The requirements to become a professional and legitimate doctor in India are very demanding. But the reward after one has finally achieved their dream is even better. The whole work is completely worth. If one has a passion to save lives and know more about the secrets of human physiology, then the years of grueling tests and courses will be a challenge that they should be willing and ready to take. Simply setting the eye on the reward is not enough, you should prepare yourself mentally and only then commit towards this career path.
