Vocational education is an important element of education which has literally helped the rural parts of the world to get technically educated & employed. Vocational courses are equally important to the other professional courses running in the market which are giving great placements to the manpower of our country. The important benefit of getting vocational training is to become competitive, practically & technically sound and extraordinarily knowledgeable in industrial scenario.

Vocational courses are provided by private & public institution. Free Vocational courses are also offered by NGO's these days. Vocational courses are available in all the different fields like Medical, Computers, stitching & home science, engineering, etc which leads to a professional degree or a certification which helps in pursuing a bright career in future.  

Surveys of the graduates indicate that 35 percent of educated people are employed because of the vocational training and another 40 percent have established their own businesses or are self employed. Only 25 percent of all have either employed with regular courses or are still running unemployed. Let's have a look on the positive results of vocational education in India, 

Since many years, many educational policies were framed & attempted previously, but it literally came into force since last few years. Now we have come up with the plan to start vocational courses in general schools & colleges also as an additional compulsory subject, which will surely help in increase in the literacy & employment rate of our country.  

Vocational training is a secondary education & it is a big help to the kids who are dropout due to their family bad economical circumstances.
