Bharat Vidhyapeeth [BVP]:It is one of India’s largest multidisciplinary, multi – campus universities and is an A grade deemed university. It is one of the top colleges in Pune and has an enviable campus and very good placement records.
MIT College of Engineering [MITCOE]: This Institute is affiliated to University of Pune and is also known as the Oxford of the East. With notable alumni and well known cultural and educational events, this is one of the most reputed colleges in the city.
Dr. D. Y. Patil College of Engineering: One of the best engineering colleges of Pune, it was established in 1984 and is part of the DY Patil group of institutions. It has its campus in Akurdi and has in-house hostel facilities and very good placement history.
Maharashtra Institute of Technology - [MIT]: With a very strong alumni base, this college, established in 1984, is affiliated to the University of Pune. It is rated consistently as one of the top colleges amongst students every year.

Symbiosis Institute of Technology - [SIT] : An hour away from the city, it is slightly more expensive in terms of course fees as compared to its peers. It has decent placements and above average faculty as rated by alumni.
