Not every day is a perfect day, but still we expect everyday to be perfect. We spend our long time studying in schools & colleges, after that we move towards graduation. After studies get complete, we struggle to get good jobs. Few people earn success in the initial stage of their career, few struggles hard to achieve success. Later or early, success definitely knocks the door. But when you see your peers reaching heights & you still climbing the hill, it de-motivates you from inside with the thought that something is lacking in you.

There are few hurdles that stop us from being successful in our careers. Try & identify them.

1. Short-term thinking
Step outside & think long-term. A short-term goal ends up soon with no results.  So we plan for long time objectives to be fulfilled which takes career towards success. Current scenario of the Market is really competitive where to sustain, only long term thinking works. Long-term thinking also keeps you motivated whole day.

2. Thinking just about job security
Few people just believe in running for job security. Such people generally avoid a good opportunity just waiting for a secured job to come to their doors.  You should never lose an opportunity which enters your way. You never know, today your getting a chance, tomorrow you won't.

3. Taking less initiatives
Everyone gets opportunity. What matters is who grabs it first. Taking Initiatives in life takes you forward & success kisses your feet. Come out of your shell & compete the world. The action you take might help you to get success in career so early.

4. Taking less challenges at work
You must have heard about the saying"MORE RISK, MORE PROFIT". Taking challenges sets you at risk but sometimes these risks are beneficial in our career. You won't get anything to learn till the time you'll take challenge to prove yourself. At work, one should be optimistic to take challenges & initiative to be successful.

5. Clarify your needs & expectations
Sometimes because of our reserve attitude, we do not share our needs & expectations with our seniors & peers. That's what creates an unclear wall of misunderstanding. You might be performing well, but because you can't say anything to your bosses, your growth gets stuck & you don't get promotions. You should clarify your needs & expectations so that people should know your worth.

6. Less efforts
We all work, but efforts can be only seen in such work which actually deserves appreciation.  Less effort definitely never works. It shows the quality & quantity of work you do when your bosses ask for performance. Always keep in mind, your performance results in growth of your career.  If you can't put efforts in it, success would never like to come to your struggling career.

7. Casual attitude towards work
There are two types of employees can be seen in an organization. One, those who literally work with dedication for the growth of an organization. Some employees just work with the wrong & casual attitude to earn money without being profitable to the organization. That kind of attitude never works. That is a big hurdle which comes to your path when you start questioning to your fate for not being successful. Your work may seem casual, but you should at least remain somewhat professional. 

8. Demotivated
Demotivation is the devil in work. He should never enter into your career. Demotivation leads to lack of confidence, less efforts, hopeless, scared to take the opportunity & make you deprive of every step which leads to success.

9. Letting personal life influence work life 
One should keep his personal & professional life apart from each other. Because, being emotional at work makes you weak & you lack in dedication & concentration, which affects your actions & off course, our success too.

10. Reserving the potential
Do not limit your potential, just show it off. Reserving potential never gives a chance to your bosses to see the real talent in you. If you can do something, do it well & in a well defined manner.

These are few things need to be care of. If you become successful in identifying any of these, start working to improve.  The wrong step would be, if we know our flaws & we avoid improving them.
