Delhi University has planned to take an initiative to go on for educational trip to various places of India with rich culture and heritage. This trip is meant to make students aware of India’s rich and varied culture. This initiative has been started by the university but it allows many students from outside colleges and universities to join the trip. The educational trip with the Delhi University has been started two years before.

The previous two years gave a huge scope for the Indian students to know many places of India apart from studying them in the pages of books. The trip this time will be the third installment. The educational trip has been planned for 2nd September on Gyanodaya express. The train will start off the educational trip with almost 850 students.

The education trip has a lot of focus behind it. Apart from the motive to feed the students with the knowledge of various students of India, the trip, this going to be a co-ed one, meaning equality between both sexes will be preserved. This year will be going to be a different trip because apart from the Indian students, foreign student will also be permitted to join it. This is really going to grateful as Indian culture will get a huge scope to spread towards foreign places.

The educational trip is not only for students, representatives from various fields like Equal Opportunity Cell, Non-Collegiate Women’s education board, sports council and also from the school of open learning will join the trip. Amrita Bajaj who is n assistant professor of Shaheed Bhagat Singh College says that this trip will include about 200 students United Kingdom which is indeed a huge pride for the Indian students. The assistant professor who is also joining the trip added that the previous year's installment also gave an opportunity for the girl candidates of NCC and NSS. But the extra facilities of this third installment of the trip truly represent the pride of Delhi University.

 The trip this year will be to Punjab to visit the flawless greenery and rich heritage the educational trip to Punjab this year will start from New Delhi Station to Safdarjung Station and cover all the remarked places of Amritsar, Ludhiana and Chandigarh.

 The students and other members of various committees and institutions will visit historically remarked places like Jalianwala Bagh, Kurukshetra, Golden Temple and the famous Wagha Border. The students have been assigned to various projects and assignments. They will get a chance to visit industries in Ludhiana and Chandigarh and chalk out the details of their work and output for their assignments.

The total trip will truly make the students from India feel proud to show their heritage to the foreign students. Apart from all the projects and assignments suggested, the students will also get a great opportunity to have fun. Priyanka Singh who was on the previous year trip says that the tour was truly enjoyable and the students got a great chance to visit almost all the states of India and know all the varied cultures.
