Student Facilities
Accommodation
Exchange students receive
assistance with accommodation through the International Center.
Full-time undergraduate students in the HFU Business School in Schwenningen will be helped to find
suitable accommodation if they wish by the International Student
Coordinator of the Business School.
Master’s students should
contact their master's course coordinator for help in finding accommodation.
If, in a later semester, you wish to find your own accommodation ,
there are numerous possibilities. An alternative to a shared house / flat or
one's own apartment may be a room in a student Halls of Residence. There are
Halls of Residence run by the Student Services (Studentenwerk Freiburg) both at
the Furtwangen and Schwenningen campuses. Additionally, there is wide variety
of private accommodation available.
Tution
Fees
No tuition fees are charged for Bachelor courses and most Master's
courses at state universities in Baden-Württemberg. Tuition fees are only
charged for Master's degree courses which require several years of professional
experience.

Cost Of living
The average cost of living of around €550/mth for accommodation, food and
medical insurance in the Furtwangen and Schwenningen region is much lower than
in large university cities. However for visa purposes students have to submit
proof of a monthly income of €720 for the duration of their stay.
